Without a warm up not only could you pull a muscle, you will probably play the first few holes badly which will affect your score and confidence for the rest of the round. Even if you share a small bucket of balls (approx 20 each) with a friend, it will only take about 10 minutes extra of your time. Along with warming up your muscles for the golf swing a warm up should involve;
So next time you play, head to the course 15 minutes early for a short practice. You’re guaranteed to feel more relaxed and prepared on the first tee and be set up for a better round.

Warm Up
Golf is no different to any other sport. If you want to perform well at your game you must warm up beforehand. It would be inconceivable that you would start a game of football without a run, stretch and kick prior to the game, yet most people will go straight from the car park to the first tee and then expect to start off well.
